Monthly Donations

As with most other Temples and churches, we rely partly on donations from members and allies to keep the Temple running.  We also work hard to help ourselves with additional endeavors such as our garden (we hope to sell produce and give some to the Community Table in Sylva), flea markets sales, our Etsy shop and other fundraisers.

We wish that money held no sway here, but if we don't pay the mortgage, the beautiful, safe and private 7 acre space that we've purchased, built upon and enjoy will cease to exist.  We cannot thank our regular and occasional donors enough, but THANK YOU!!!!

Chip in is no more...

We are adding a Paypal link to our website soon, and hope that will help to make donating convenient for many.

We still have Facebook causes.  More on that soon as well.

Donations can be made directly at the Temple as well for those of you who are members.

You can mail us a check, set up a direct monthly deposit or visit any BB&T bank - all they need is our name, an account number is not required. :o)

All checks should be made payable to:  Sylvan Hearth Pagan Temple

Again, thank you so much for all your support!!!!

Brigid's Holy Well In Kildare Ireland

This is a Catholic site where Pagans are also welcome to honor the Goddess Brid, AKA St. Brigid.

Example of Well dressing where people leave offerings and tie ribbons to the tree next to the well.

Below is a link to a story about Pagans and Christians both worshiping at Brigid's Well:

Temple Work Day Update

In the word's of our High Priestess: "Wow.   All I can say is:   Wow.   WOW!"
THANK YOU to Bill, who spent a solid week from Sunup to Sundown each day clearing our community garden site, chopping wood, burning brush, and creating the base for our new wood shed by the Henge!  Amazing work, Bill!  Also thanks to Tony, Barrett and Jack for helping as well (and their work on enlarging and landscaping our pet cemetery)!
Also, amazing thanks go out to Jeanne, Tony, Barrett and Tracy for working Uncle Bill's Flea Market for us!  They worked all weekend long and garnered quite a bit for our monthly mortgage payment!
And, again to Tony and Barrett, lots of appreciation for coming out every Tuesday, and then some this week, to widen our paths and provide handrails in certain spots.  A nice compliment to the bridges you guys led in building across our stream in a couple of places.
THANKS TO YOU ALL!!!  You are much appreciated!
